The Passport nameplate made a return in 2018, following an absence on the market that lasted nearly two decades. The original Passport was a reputable SUV from the 1990s developed by Honda for the North American market. Fast forward to 2018, and the car has been resurrected. The Passport went on sale for the 2019 model year.

Under the hood, the Passport is fitted with a 280-horsepower V6 mated with an automatic transmission. No other engine variants are available. Due to overstocking the 2019 model, Honda offered 60-month financing deals at 0.9% combined with a $1000 discount for owners of any new (2009 and above) Honda.
