This Woman Turned Her Tesla Into A Pickup Truck And It’s Glorious
Amateur robot builder Simone Giertz was looking to do something interesting with a Tesla an idea struck. What better way would there be for "The Queen of [expletive] Robots" to change a Tesla that by turning one into a pickup truck. With her path set, the first thing Giertz and her team decided to do was, "wing it."
To create her masterpiece, Giertz used a Tesla 3, the cheapest version of the all-electric vehicle on the market. She then had to casually saw off body panels so she could build a custom truck bed. No big deal, right?
When Giertz finished, she had an incredible looking, and fully functional, Tesla truck that she lovingly named "Truckla." Then, to top things off, she filmed a fake commercial for her creation to show off the possibilities.
Unfortunately, all of Giertz hard work might not pay off if she was looking for a job. Tesla has already announced a pickup truck and released an image. Trust us, you don't want to see it. The real Tesla truck may or may not come out this year, although if Elon Musk is smart, he'll hold off until the company can make something closer to what Giertz designed. It would fly off the showroom floor!
