The “Trueblue Twins” Are Gaining A Massive Instagram Following
The internet fell in love with the "Trueblue Twins" after their mother first shared photos of Megan and Morgan Boyd on Instagram. Stephanie Boyd first started posting photos of her twin girls when they were four years old, nicknaming them the "Trueblue Twins". The twins' unique beauty caught the attention of over 166,000 Instagram users. Their followers can't get enough of these two young beauties. Here are some of their most popular photos... keep reading to see what they look like today!
The Girls Were Born in June 2011
Twin girls Megan and Morgan Boyd were born on June 6, 2011. It was love at first sight for their mother, Stephanie, and she immediately knew that there was something special about her daughters.
The girls were born with beautiful eyes that captivated everyone who stopped to admire them. Stephanie was overjoyed to welcome the girls into the world and knew that she would love being a parent to Megan and Morgan.
Their Mother Nicknamed Them The "Trueblue Twins"
It's common for parents of twins to come up with a nickname to call the two. Sometimes, it's their last name, followed by "sisters," "brothers," or "twins". But the "Boyd Sisters" just doesn't give these girls justice. These little girls are certain to have a bright future ahead of them and their mother knew right away that they would become stars.
Stephanie began calling them the "Trueblue Twins" for their unique blue eyes, and the nickname stuck.
Of Course, Mom Loves Sharing Photos
Like most new moms, Stephanie enjoys sharing photos of her baby girls on social media for her friends and family to see. She posts photos of the twins on her Facebook and Instagram accounts and her friends and followers are amazed by the beautiful Trueblue Twins.
Megan and Morgan's striking blue eyes make them easily recognizable and no one could ignore just how special these twins were. The 'likes' began flowing in.
They Often Wear Matching Outfits
It's common for twins to be dressed in matching outfits, and that's no different with the Trueblue Twins. Their mother loves shopping for the girls' outfits and often dresses them in adorable matching clothes.
It's clear from their popular Instagram photos that their mother Stephanie has an eye for fashion! The twins are always stylish in their matching outfits, yet it's easy to tell the girls apart since their eyes are different.
Everyday Is Like A Fashion Show
Stephanie is a proud parent and always wants her twin daughters looking and feeling good. Each day, she takes the time to carefully select their outfits, style their hair, and add some cute accessories, too.
Even as a busy mom of these young girls, Stephanie finds the time to shop and keep the girls' wardrobes fresh. With all of the beautiful clothing that the Trueblue Twins have, it's almost like they're celebrities!
Their Mom Stephanie Also Has Blue Eyes
Because it's rare for black people to have blue eyes, many people assume that African-American adults with blue eyes are wearing colored contacts. But this is not always the case. Some black people are born with a rare gene that colors their eyes blue.
You can see that the Trueblue Twins' mother Stephanie also has blue eyes and likely gets questioned whether she's wearing colored contacts or not... and she isn't!
Telling Them Apart By Their Different Eye Colors
It's evident that both sisters have this rare gene for blue eyes. One of the Trueblue Twins also has a genetic condition called heterochromia, which causes the eyes to be two different colors. Morgan is the twin sister with the condition, giving her one blue eye and one brown eye.
The characteristic sets the twin girls apart, making them not 100% identical. Because Morgan has heterochromia, it makes it easier to tell the two apart.
Morgan's Condition Is Rare
One of the reasons people can't help but stop and admire the Trueblue Twins is that Morgan's eye colors are so rare. It's likely that it's the first time that many people have seen someone with two differently colored eyes.
Although for some people, heterochromia iridium may be due to an injury, this isn't the case for Morgan. The condition doesn't affect her eyesight, it just makes her more unique! According to historians, Alexander the Great also had the condition.
The Condition Won't Slow Down Morgan's Modeling Career
Morgan's rare condition means that she has a physical trait that sets her apart from other girls. However, in no way is this slowing down her young modeling career! In fact, it's likely to have helped her acquire new opportunities.
There are many stars who also have heterochromia, including actresses Kate Bosworth, Mila Kunis, and Alice Eve. Robert Downey Jr., Simon Pegg, and Henry Cavill also carry the rare gene.
Heterochromia Runs in The Girls' Family
Like their blue eyes, the gene for heterochromia iridium runs in the girls' family. The twins are bi-racial, and the gene is carried through the caucasian side of their family. Morgan's great aunt and uncle also have different colored eyes, but neither of them are bi-racial like the Trueblue twins.
That makes Morgan's look even rarer, as the condition is typically seen in people of European descent, with lighter skin.
And Suddenly, They Were Discovered
When the Trueblue Twins' mother Stephanie shared photos of the girls on her social media, they always received plenty of likes. But, it wasn't until someone with a large following shared an image of the twins that they became Insta-famous.
Musician and tattoo artist Deyonte Hunter posted a photo of the twins on this Instagram and his followers went crazy! Many of them jumped over to Stephanie's Instagram to follow her account as the one photo garnered over 2,000 likes in a single day.
A Video Of The Trueblue Twins Received 6.6 Million Views
After Deyonte Hunter shared a photo of Megan and Morgan, a fan went to Stephanie's Facebook page and created a video collage of the twins using photos she shared. The girls' father, Lovell Knight, proudly shared the video.
While he knew fans would enjoy the video, he had no idea that over 6.6 million people would watch it! Almost instantly, the Trueblue Twins became a viral sensation. The proud parents were over the moon, excited for their girls' future.
Celebrities Began Taking Notice
Internet users were dazzled by the Trueblue Twins' beauty, as seen on the video and their mother's social media accounts. Soon, they attracted the attention of Hollywood, too! Both actress Meagan Good and comedian D.L. Hughley came across a photo of Megan and Morgan and shared it with their followers.
Both of these top celebrities confessed to being fans of the beautiful young girls and wanted to help them gain more exposure to launch their modeling careers.
The Twins Are Popular Both Locally And Nationally
The Trueblue Twins' parents were excited that the girls were starting to gain a following and fan base online, but they had always known that they were special. Since the time the twins were born, neighbors and people in their community would stop to admire the two and pay gracious compliments.
The twins weren't born into stardom by having famous parents, rather they were making a splash just on their beauty alone.
Their Beauty Inspires Fan Art
Many of the Trueblue Twins' followers happen to be talented artists. Followers of Megan and Morgan often send them fan art inspired by the twins' beauty. Their mother Stephanie sweetly shares some of the art sent to them on their Instagram account, showing appreciation.
Without much more than beautiful photos shared on Instagram, the Trueblue Twins are being treated as if they're as big as the Olsen twins! And it was all happening so fast.
Stephanie Looks Out For Her Daughters' Best Interests
While Stephanie knows that her twin daughters' natural beauty can lead to professional modeling careers, she doesn't want to push the girls into something they don't want to do.
She explained to Megan and Morgan that if they wanted to, they could model and have some photos taken professionally. After hearing out their mom, the Trueblue Twins decided that they wanted to pose for some photos taken by a professional and see where it went.
Their Father Is Understandably Protective
As many fathers are, Lovell Knight is very protective of his young girls. After sharing the video that kicked off their modeling careers, he's both proud and concerned of what would happen next.
Their dad is making sure that the girls' are enjoying posing for photos but are also getting to just be normal kids. Lovell makes sure that everything they work on is in the best interest of his girls' future.
Not Getting Too Big, Too Fast
The Trueblue Twins are lucky to have such a loving and supportive family to look out for the girls' best interest. While their parents are hopeful and happy that the girls have the opportunity to model, they don't want to put any limits on what they can achieve.
Lovell and Stephanie also make it a priority to teach the girls how to stay grounded as they become more and more recognized everywhere they go.
Fans Ask To Take Pictures With Them
Now that plenty of photos of the Trueblue Twins have been shared across the internet, they've become celebrities. Their fans and followers often stop and ask to take photos with the girls.
Their mother says that the twins are very friendly with people who pay them compliments and ask for photos, but she never insists on the girls posing for photos with strangers. While Megan always obliges, Morgan sometimes prefers to stay out of the photo if she doesn't know the person.
The Trueblue Twins Love The Camera
While their parents adore taking photos of them, it was obvious from when they were toddlers that the Trueblue twins love being in from of the camera. Their aunt, Ebony Morris even says that the twins were "born for this" as they're such naturals at modeling.
In every photo, the girls have fun posing and trying new faces. And they enjoy their outfits as much as their mother enjoys picking them out.
The Twins Also Have A Brother
The Trueblue Twins not only have each other, but they also have a younger brother. Megan and Morgan love being big sisters and spending time with their close-knit family.
The three of them pile into the backseat of the car and enjoy traveling with their mom and dad around their hometown of Philadelphia and beyond. You can see that their brother's eyes aren't blue like theirs, but they all share a similar resemblance.
They're Officially Models
Today the twins have 702,000 Instagram followers, garnering tens of thousands of likes with each photo that's shared. Although they're Insta-famous, Megan and Morgan also enjoy being regular kids.
Their mother shares that they aren't growing up too quickly-- the twins enjoy the same silly and fun things that other girls their age do, including eating candy, playing dress-up and goofing around. These sweet girls are professional and fun-loving, too.
They (Kind Of) Know They're Famous
Megan and Morgan know that they pose for photos more than most kids their age and that not everyone gets recognized and stopped in the street. However, being so young, they don't truly grasp what's going on and what it means to be famous.
They're not yet old enough to have their own phones or social media, and they aren't entirely sure what it all means. Supposedly, they cutely told their teacher that they were famous on "NewTube".
They Have Different Personalities
Having a twin is like having a built-in best friend. The girls spend the majority of their time together, but that doesn't mean that they're exactly the same! Morgan, on the left, enjoys putting on "fashion shows" pretending to walk the catwalk.
Megan, on the right, loves the glamour aspect of getting her hair done before getting her picture taken. Their parents love to see their different personalities shine as the girls get older.
Their Mother Books Their Modeling Gigs
After the twins showed interest in modeling, their mother Stephanie began accepting emails and calls about booking the twins. Their mother was truly amazed at how much attention the girls were getting at such a young age!
Stephanie is managing all of the girls' modeling gigs herself, making sure that the twins are taking advantage of opportunities while also getting time to just be kids. Even talk show host Wendy Williams has reached out to them!
Snapchat Filters Are A Favorite Hobby
Although they don't have their own cellphones yet, the Trueblue Twins love playing with Snapchat filters when their mother lets them borrow her phone. Just like other kids, Megan and Morgan aren't all about serious photos, they have plenty of fun, too.
The girls goof around with the different Snapchat filters, and sometimes their mother will share the silly photos to their Instagram account. Even if they're professional models now, kids will be kids!
They Have An Incredible Wardrobe
Just like their mother, the Trueblue Twins have a passion for fashion! The girls have always been nicely dressed, thanks to Stephanie, but now that they're professional models their wardrobe is even better.
The girls often get to keep the clothes that they modeled in, and they love the perk! In turn for keeping the clothes, Stephanie will share photos of the girl all dressed up, and brands are happy to have them representing them.
The Twins Already Have An Eye For Fashion Design
Although you might assume that the girls' outfits are always chosen by either their parents or professionals, that's not always the case! Stephanie shares that now that the twins are a bit older, Megan and Morgan like to pick out their own outfits!
The girls have shown quite an interest in fashion, and they have an eye for it, too! Stephanie recalls a time when the girls stayed up late altering their jeans to have frays and holes in them, as they've seen in fashion trends.
The Trueblues Love Trying Different Hair Styles
One of the Trueblue Twins' trademarks is their stylish hair. Their mother loves to try out new and different styles including braids, bows, and bantu knots. Megan, in particular, loves getting her hair styled.
Fans look forward to seeing what hairstyle the twins will don next, which serves as inspiration for their fans to try to replicate the looks themselves. The twins almost always have matching hairstyles in their photos.
Like Many Instagram Influencers, They've Started To Endorse Products
Although they're young, Megan and Morgan have officially reached Instagram influencer status with an incredible 702,000 people following the twins on Instagram. Their mother carefully vets the product endorsement opportunities that are offered to the girls and selects a few that she believes fit the Trueblue Twins' brand.
It's a true testament as to how quickly fame builds on Instagram. With the brand endorsements, the twins can start building up their funds for their future.
Always Ready To Strike A Pose
No matter where the girls are, Megan and Morgan love striking a pose for the camera. Although they do professional modeling, they still love to pose for photos that their mother takes of them on her camera phone.
Pictured here are the girls striking poses for the camera during a family trip to Walmart. It's clear that Megan is ready to get a phone of her own as she poses with it like her mother might.
The Twins' Mother Loves Rihanna
Many of the Trueblue Twins' fans think that the two young girls bare some resemblance to musical artist Rihanna. Stephanie is a big fan of Rihanna's and styled the girls' hair to look like hers in this photo.
Fans of the Trueblue Twins are excited to see how the girls grow and what their personal style will turn into as they get older and find their own inspiration for fashion.
The Girls Dressed As Rihanna For Halloween
It appears that it isn't just mom who is a fan of Rihanna. For Halloween, the girls decided that they would both dress up as Rihanna's poster for her ANTI World Tour. The twins must love Halloween because it's another chance to dress up!
They're truly living their dream, being able to try on different clothes and hairstyles every day, and their mother is happy to support them and play along.
The Future Is Bright
Here's yet another playful photo of the twins, just being themselves and having fun. They still love trying out new and unique looks and aren't about being all matchy-matchy all the time (although they do match outfits on the next slide).
The twins have so much going for them. Most recently, their mother posted that they're into some educational flashcards that teach them history, vocabulary, and culture from around the world!
In Gucci For Easter
Only time will tell what the future holds for these stylish girls. But with their impressive Instagram following and adoring fans, it's likely that we'll be seeing the Trueblue Twins for years to come.
Their supportive parents are excited to see what direction they choose to go in. The future is bright for these beautiful and naturally talented girls who are following their fashion dreams and sharing the experience along the way.
The Clement Twins Arrived Early
On July 7, 2010, Jaqi Clements had a surprise visit from her newborn babies Ava Marie and Leah Rose. The twins came four and a half weeks early, but as time went on, Jaqi understood why.
"They came four and a half weeks early but knowing their personalities now it makes total sense that they would show up early, unannounced, and ready to take on anything," Jaqi said.
Stars From The Start
After the twins were born, it didn't take long for family and strangers to notice how striking their appearances are. There’s a reason they always get compliments.
Since birth, their natural beauty is undeniable, their skin is smooth, their hair keeps its silky texture, and their utterly symmetrical faces make them look like their straight from a magazine.
Everyone Said The Same Thing: They Should Be Models!
With kids this adorable, it's hard for people not to compliment them. From the time the twins were born, Jaqi continually heard the same statement.
Jaqi says strangers would always mention one thing: "Wow they are so beautiful, you should really think about getting them into modeling," And so she decided to take a shot at starting the girls’ modeling careers.
Modeling Was Too Much To Juggle With Three Kids
After being pushed to get the twins involved in modeling, Jaqi finally did it. Once the kids reached six months, they were signed up with an agency in Los Angeles.
Jaqi already had a two-year-old son to take care of so this was added pressure to her parenting regime. "It was hard enough to get out of the door most days so my attempt back then was short-lived and I decided it just wasn't the time," Jaqi said. The first attempt only lasted three months.
Leading A Normal Life
Helping guide her children through a life of modeling is enticing, but it wasn't the right decision at the time. Jaqi felt bringing up the twins alongside their peers would be the right thing to do.
There were no regrets in pulling the children out of modeling. As time went on, things slowly started to change. Can you guess what happened next?
What Do The Girls Want?
While her busy schedule as a mom of three pulled her away from the idea of modeling, the twins weren't ready to let it go. Their three months of modeling were over, but Jaqi thought of an important factor, the twins’ dreams.
Aiming to keep the children happy, Jaqi didn’t want to pressure them into something they didn’t want to do. So she made sure that Ava and Leah had a say.
Waiting For The Right Moment
The only issue with Jaqi's idea of asking the girls is the Ava and Leah were still toddlers. They weren’t old enough to help make their own decisions or clearly voice their opinions.
Because the only language the kids spoke were tears, Jaqi and her husband were stumped. They thought hard about how and when it was the right time to allow the twins to decide on their own.
Lucky Number Seven
One thing that needs to be noted is how much Jaqi believes in signs. She says seven is her lucky number, so it's more than a coincidence that the twins were born on 7/7.
The girl’s seventh birthday was approaching. The thought of them turning seven on July 7, 2017, set Jaqi’s brain ablaze.
Giving The Girls The Idea
By the time Ava and Leah grew to be seven, they had developed personalities of their own. They were involved in several extracurricular activities like dance and swim.
On their birthday, Jaqi said, "I presented my idea to the girls that, if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try."
Ready For Action
Jaqi says the girls love to perform for anybody and everybody. Friends, neighbors, and strangers are welcomed audiences for Ava and Leah. Jaqi claims she doesn't know where they got this trait from to perform.
Jaqi said, "I was not surprised at all when they started jumping up and down and couldn’t wait to begin!" The twins were all in for modeling.
And The Modeling Kicks Off Again
Now that the kids were older and excited about modeling, the process would most likely go much smoother. Luckily, Jaqi's neighbor had recently opened a children’s boutique. She needed some models to help market the new business.
The twins got the job. "Plus, I needed some new photos if I was going to get them an agent so I figured this would be a great opportunity for all of us," Jaqi said.
Starting Off Slow
The girls were still young. Having them put on loads of makeup and wear a collection of pretty clothes could be detrimental to their development, so Jaqi took things slow.
Jaqi took matters into her own hands at the beginning. "I dug out my 10-year-old Nikon camera from a bin in the garage, put a few waves in the girl's hair, dabbed on a little blush, and out we went to take some pictures," said Jaqi.
Some Wrinkles To Iron Out
Naturally, Ava and Leah have stunning looks, but that doesn't mean they intuitively know how to model. Some things take time. Jaqi learned that first hand during her first shoot with the twins.
"Ava would look at the camera while Leah would stare off into space… Leah would accidentally bump into Ava who of course thought it was on purpose and would shove her back," Jaqi recalled. They’re young, and she had to cut them a lot of slack.
Getting Back With An Agency
Now that the family was all aboard the modeling train, Jaqi had to get the girls back with an agent. She worried that it would be hard to find one since six years went by after the first attempt.
"I still had a handful of contacts, so I decided to start there," she said. “To my surprise, I heard back from almost every single one asking to set up a time to meet the girls.” They ended up signing with two agencies but trouble brewed behind the scenes.
The Double Agency Dilemma
Jaqi assumed having two agencies representing her daughters meant more opportunity and exposure for them. Everything was going fine until one of the agencies gave her a call.
"Hi, we wanted to let you know we were able to get the girls straight through to a callback for a Barbie Audition tomorrow," the agent told Jaqi. She panicked because the girls had just gone to the same audition with their other agent. She revealed the truth and matters got fixed in a few hours.
Social Media Explosion
Jaqi started an Instagram for the girls called @clementstwins in July of 2017. She had no clue what she was doing or if 300,000 followers is a lot. Low and behold, the page started to blow up.
The goal of the Instagram account was to serve as a portfolio for agencies and to gain a fanbase. It ended up becoming all that and then some.
Jaqi's Instagram Learning Curve
The beauty of the twins was only partly the reason for the success their Instagram account. There were some tactics that Jaqi had to use to help gain all the followers she did. She spilled the beans on a few secrets.
"Now, a little over five months later, the girls have over 380,000 followers," she started. “One thing I know for sure if it's ALL about the pictures… so don’t settle for an average photographer because you want to save a few dollars.” You hear that folks? Take quality pictures.
Why 2017 Was Their Year
2017 was an excellent year for the twins and their whole family. Outside of Ava and Leah opting into modeling, Jaqi had a hunch 2017 would be lucky, regardless.
"Aside from the fact that I'm a huge believer in signs and have been told by almost everyone that 7 is a lucky number, I just had a feeling that this year was going to be a fun and exciting year for them," Jaqi explained. A mother’s intuition is often correct.
All In The Family
Ava and Leah were becoming successful, but their older brother Chase proved to be a talented kid as well. Chase signed with the same agencies as his younger sisters and has a little extra on his resume.
Not only does Chase model, but he also knows how to act. He has been in a few commercials as well.
Job Offers Everywhere
It wasn't long before everyone learned that the girls had the nature for modeling. Soon after they decided to give modeling a try, they already had six jobs in the span of a week.
While this might have tired most little girls out they couldn’t get enough of it and wanted to do more.
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Jaqi is relatively new to the industry. She had no prior knowledge before diving in. As time goes on, she is learning more about the business and says there are highs and lows.
On her blog, she lists the good, the bad and ugly aspects of this modeling world. She says the most important thing she's learned, "is before trusting someone to guide you, make sure you know who you are getting involved with."
One of The Hardest Challenges
For the girls and their mother, one of the hardest aspects of their new lives in the modeling world is just LA traffic.
They go into downtown Los Angeles several times a week which can sometimes turn into 5 to 6 hour-long roundtrip drives. Although this may sound brutal, it's the name of the game, and they’ve learned to deal with it.
Finding The Right Guidance
Since Jaqi needs guidance but wants to make sure she's getting the right advice from the right people, she has a series of questions that she asks herself before working with someone.
She believes that if anything ever seems off, to go with your gut feeling and to always do thorough research, because it will pay off in the long run. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Trying To Ignore The Negativity
Jaqi also discusses the struggles of dealing with negative comments or backlash that is directed at her daughters or her family. Although she knows to ignore the negativity and focus on the positive feedback, it isn't always easy.
She feels a lot of pressure to protect her family and fight back but reminds herself that "If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all."
"They Look Sad"
A comment that the girl's frequent receive is that they look sad all the time. Some even take this to mean that they’re being forced to model and that they aren’t having fun.
They respond by saying that some photoshoots are supposed to be more solemn then others and that if you ever met them, you’d know that they are far from sad.
Stance On Makeup
One of the biggest questions that the family gets is if the girls are wearing makeup. Not everybody thinks that it's a big deal, except some of them think that the girls are a little young to be exposed to it at such a young age.
However, Jaqi comments by saying "ln most every job the girl’s book through their agency, or any professional photo shoot they attend, there is a hired hair and makeup artist on set. Why!? Because that’s how the industry works."
Jaqi's Biggest Pet Peeve
Although there's endless backlash from the public about the girl’s modeling careers, the comment that she hates the most is when people say "Let them be kids".
This annoys her as well as the girls because they haven’t been forced into modeling, it’s genuinely what they like to do and how they want to spend their time.
They Do Other Things Than Just Model
Although modeling now takes up a fair amount of their time, the two twins are still average little girls. They still like to goof around during photo shoots, make music playlists in the car, and even get on each other's nerves.
However, the two have always liked to dance and used to do it in front of the camera before they started modeling. Maybe that’s why they have a knack for it!
The Benefits of Living The Modeling Life
Although the life of modeling can be exhausting with all of the traveling and scheduling, it has also helped to bring the family together.
They describe each trip as being a new experience that they get to share and they spend more time together than most families because of it. They meet new people and make new friends all the time which is part of the experience.
Extra Benefits
In addition to spending more time as a family and meeting new kids their age with similar interests, the benefits go beyond that.
They are frequently sent new products and clothes to try out for other companies and love testing them out at photo shoots. They then help out the companies by tagging them in their photos or giving them a shoutout on their social media accounts.
Steps For Instagram Success
You don't get 300,000 Instagram followers in such a short amount of time without knowing what you’re doing.
Luckily for us, Jaqi has a few tips that turned her little girls from Instagram novices into total superstars. Even Jaqi herself went from knowing very little about social media into an expert of sorts. Continue to learn some of Jaqi’s personal secrets.
Don't Overpost
In order to make sure that people don't get sick of your account or forget about it, Jaqi recommends that post in moderation but still frequently.
However, if you overpost, people are more likely to unfollow you because you’re taking up their entire timeline. This is the key to gaining and maintaining followers.
Hashtags Are Crucial
Another important thing to make note of when it comes girl's Instagram account is the use of hashtags. Jaqi has discovered a formula that helps to get the girls as much exposure as possible without being too aggressive with the hashtags.
She uses similar hashtags to other models their age so they can be found through other model’s accounts as well.
Tags Lead To More Likes
For the success of the girl's Instagram, tagging people is also incredibly important. Not only does it show their appreciation for their makeups artists, photographers, designers, and more, but it also brings up their Instagram page when someone searches those particular people.
Jaqi also makes sure to tag both in the picture and in the comments to make sure that the tag doesn’t go unnoticed.
How To Follow The Right People
Of course, when you're running a popular Instagram, you want to follow some people so that people are more likely to follow you. Jaqi learned to follow everyone at first including all of the other kid models, photographers, kids stores, and more.
Then, after they had a big following, she went back and kept following only the pages they wanted to follow.
Comment, Comment, Comment
Another way that the girl's Instagram became so successful was taking advantage of the comments section.
Jaqi said that she would comment on other model’s photos, photographers, and other accounts to maybe make contact with them and spark up a conversation. This also helps to establish relationships and familiarize yourself with others.
Trends That Work
As it turns out, certain types of pictures are more liked by the public than others.
The family began to notice that they got more likes on pictures where the two were both in the picture and similar features such as their eyes were next to each other. This draws people into the picture and makes the images so unique.
Where They Got All Of Their Outfits
When the girls were just starting off, it wasn't only their looks and likeness that got the attention of so many people, it was also their outfits.
So, to make sure that the girls had the perfect clothing, she would borrow clothes from their neighbor who ran a children’s boutique and in turn, would promote the store for he on their Instagram. Clearly, it worked out for the both of them!
Honesty Is The Best Policy
With the Clements still learning the ins-and-outs of the whole modeling world, one of the things that they've learned is that honesty is always the best policy.
Whether it’s working with an agency, photographer, or other models, saying what’s really on your mind helps keep things clean between everyone and makes you a likable person in the business.
They Will Only Continue If They Want To
For the girls and their older brother, the family came to an agreement that they will only stay in the modeling business as long as everyone is happy.
Their parents are more than happy to continue supporting their dream as long as they want to keep doing it. The second they want out is when they'll stop because their parents just want them to be happy.
